Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2017 Final
So PSL 2017 has come to an end. After a series of nail-biting, thrilling and exciting matches, Pakistan Super League finished with an another superb match. In which Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators by 58 runs.
This has been a great match since it was played in Pakistan. Therefore, this nation has successfully defeated terrorism. And at the end, Pakistan has won.
The crowd was as electrifying as it was expected. It was jam packed and they were constantly roaring. Surely they had a memorable day.
But not for Quetta, since they ended up being runner-ups for the second time in a row in Pakistan Super League. Quetta managed to restict Peshawar Zalmi to a considerbly low score i.e., 148 in PSL 2017 final. With Kamran Akmal being the top scorer scoring 40 runs off 32 balls. Darren Sammy played a quick innings of 28 off 11 balls, including 3 massive sixes. While West Indian Emrit took 3 wickets and emerging player Hasan Khan picked 2 wickets.
In response, Quetta Gladiators had a major batting collapse and none of the batsman scored big runs. Peshawar Zalmi was on the charge and never gave Quetta Gladiators a chance to bounce back. Thus winning the all important PSL final.

PSL 2017 Final in Lahore: Cricket Returning Home
PCB has announced that PSL 2017 Final will be played in Lahore no matter what. They are determined to bring cricket back to Pakistan even with or without international players. Also, an additional draft will take place from the pool of players who are willing to play PSL final in Lahore.
Hence, PCB is trying every possible move so that PSL final can be held in Lahore, in front of the local cricket lovers. Despite of it, their efforts are getting sabotaged due to recent acts of terrorism in Pakistan, especially in Lahore.
Foreign Players in PSL 2017 Final
Quetta Gladiators, who are the first finalists of PSL, is having trouble getting its foreign players to Pakistan. Icon player Kevin Pieterson, Luke Wright and star bowler Tymal Mills have pulled out of playing PSL final in Lahore. Rillee Rossow after being double-minded on the decision, have finally decided not to visit Lahore.
But Quetta Gladiators' mentor Sir Vivian Richards and fielding coach Julien Fountain agreed to visit Lahore.
Quetta Gladiators have picked Anamul Haque of Bangladesh along with South Africa’s Morne van Wyk. West Indian Riad Emrit, Zimbabwe’s Sean Ervine and Elton Chigumbura to take part in the PSL 2017 final in Lahore. Aizaz Cheema also replaced injured Umar Gul.
On the other hand, the whole squad of Peshawar Zalmi will be there in Lahore for the PSL 2017 final. Those include captain Darren Sammy, David Malan, Marlon Sammuels, Chris Jordan and Samit Patel.
Unfortunately, star all-rounder Shahid Afridi won't be participating because he got himself injured in the Eliminator where he got 12 stitches in his hand.

There is a lot of news coming up before the big final. Sunset and Vine, the UK-based production house who broadcasts Pakistan Super League, has withdrawn its services for the league's final which will be played in Lahore on March 5. ESPNcricinfo understands that a Dubai-based company, Innovative Production Group, will handle production of the Lahore match.
Also, the PSL is also seeking to replace its overseas commentators: Danny Morrison, Alan Wilkins, Mel Jones are hesitant to travel to Lahore, whereas Ian Bishop, whose contract was until the play-offs, will leave to cover West Indies' home ODIs against England.
Hence, Karachi Kings's coach Micky Arthur, Islamabad United's coach Dean Jones, bowling coach Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis will fill the gap as commentators.
Moreover, companies that handle the HawkEye technology and Spider-cam have also pulled out from the final, which will be televised without the supporting components. A drone camera is likely to replace the spider-cam.
